About Makan Studios' Artist room:
A series experimental gallery shows designed to foster growth while highlighting each artist's unique voice. each exhibition invites artists to engage with a central theme, encouraging them to push boundaries, explore new mediums, and interact with one another's practices. in this exhibition, the artist inspects the quite interactions between her and her pet cat inside the home that they share together. Feeling the need to capture these precious moments in art to always remember them.
About the artist:
Bashair Al-Balushi an interior and furniture designer by day, photograph and artist by night.
Interested in Omani folklore, renaissance, architecture and art. with a degree of interior design from scientific College of Design. She Manages the department of innovation & design in Design Skills studio, which she owns.
