This painting is a part of six others in the series, which were done during pandemic time. The chair in the series represents all the different aspects of the pandemic and how it is perceived by each individual. The heretic piece explores the individuals, who did not believe in the pandemic and were cast away and shunned by society, not unlinke Lucifer.

Hamed Al-Harthy is a self taught digital artist. His work is existentially surreal with traditional elements. Although his work is on digital elements, he tried to employ traditional techniques to give the works an oil painting feel. Hamed works and lives in Muscat
